Blast Ball starring Konnor // and Papa Planting Feed

This is a dual post so we'll start with Konnor playing blast ball this summer!  There is no shortage of entertainment when you go watch the 4 year olds play.... it is the cutest thing!  After the player hits the ball, they run to 1st base where they jump on the base.  Learning the skills for sure!  Eric is helping coach this year so it is good to see they our boys are giving back to the community after so many years of their dad coaching and doing the same for them!  Sure brings back a flood of memories when the boys played ball and we traveled all over the area.... great treasured memories!

I love this picture of Konnor and Daddy/

 Ready to rock and roll..
This is my favorite of Bear in the dugout.... so sweet!
Katie and I had time for a selfie... what we don't do for entertainment....
and then Papa got to come home and plant feed after we had .85" of rain.  The 60 had no problem getting to work.... Grandpa Guy used the drill and this tractor together when he farmed. Isn't that awesome?

When we left home for Mulvane on Father's Day -- this is a view from our vantage point of the cloud deck below. I was so intrigued by this sight... it was absolutely the coolest thing ever.

Up NORTH!

My how time flies..... but here are a few pictures of our trip to Minnesota to watch the girls in the dance recital.  I was so impressed with their dancing --  such talented girls indeed! Not sure where that comes from== must be Mommy for sure!

Then, we have kinda been toying with the idea of purchasing a cabin up north - Bruce and I love the water and fishing.... and we could get away from the hot summer days.  So off we went to look at one -

but.... the interior was less than impressive... and had some major structural issues despite the beauty of the exterior.

The kids played a little baseball and we enjoyed playing out on their new deck!  It was so pretty... and Shawn and Dad got in a little pouring of cement as well. Carrie and I enjoyed Mother's Day and went to Alexandria to watch Mom's Night Out!  I don't know when I have laughed so hard.... it was hilarious!

And we went fishing!  Shawn provided the boat, poles, and the kids -- the entertainment... Carrie provided the food for our picnic! It was such a beautiful setting on the lake and I got to spy a beautiful bald eagle in her nest!  Could of been the dad in the nest since they take turns sitting on the eggs!  And Bruce and I caught our first pike!  Never got mine in the boat though.... but we did get a lot of exploring done as well!

Thanks Shawn & Carrie! We can't wait to come back this summer for a little baseball with K-Man playing!
