First Flight for #7

Konnor got to spend some time at the farm before Carrie and the kids came to visit. Eric was helping Bruce with some gutter work so Konnor and I got to go to Pioneer Days in Kiowa. We had a lot of fun watching old cars, horses and carriages, and cattle being drove down the main street. He enjoyed waving to the people in the parade and I enjoyed watching him!  After that we went to a reenactment across the street and then came home.

Gotta love that smilel!
We did spend a little time giving L.T. some lovies... He always has time for the kiddos.
and then papa took Konnor for his first ever airplane ride. He taxied first but he really wanted to fly!

and off they went!  He sure did have a big cheesy grin -- and loved it!

Artie has taken all the kids for rides and is close for a quick trip around the patch!  Papa, daddy and Konnor had a great time....

Play time with the K's....

Guess we have been busy since I haven't posted anything for over a month!  Yikes... Oh well. When Carrie brought the kids to Kansas in April, we got even busier! So much to see and do.  All the kids got airplane rides in Artie to start things off! Thankfully - NO WIND! We did go to a cattle sale in Fairview, but those are on my phone!

Papa gets so much enjoyment by sharing his love of flying!  So far -  they all have loved it!
This sweet lady, Judy, shared her home with us and also showed us her many quilts and her beautiful sewing room! Drool, drool...... She is having some serious health issues so we pray for her to get better and stronger everyday.
Here we are at the Historical Museum in Freedom. What a wonderful collection of western heritage, dinosaur bones, relics from the past, and wonderful home furnishings from days gone by!  I loved it!
Outside of the museum with the sweet girls who kept me entertained!
We went to Alabaster Caverns to check out the area since we were only 7 miles from there.  Next time I hope to take the kids inside the cave.
Kaylee seems to have went a little batty in this photo.  LOL
Checking out the trail down to the caverns - Carrie and the girls!
and of course we had gator rides. and then off to Mulvane to see the cousins....
Kaylee was cheering for cousin Katie in her soccer game while
Konnor is hamming it up for the camera and Nana.  Silly little farmer!
Karolyn is growing up way too fast... she enjoyed watching Kelton and Katie.
Kelton entertained us with his athleticism and here is going in for his goal!  It was amazing to watch him. We are all so proud of him.  He did have quite the cheering section on this Saturday!
Here he is fighting for control of that soccer ball. Sure glad he has on chin pads!
Katie was not to be outdone. She has progressed into quite the little fighter out on that field.  She may be small but she is definitely mighty!
The Pink Puppies were doing great this day - I really enjoyed hearing the big burly coaches encouraging the girls... Let's go Pink Puppies!  Now that's gotta test their manliness!  LOL

There is one person sadly missing from all my pictures -- Kolsen!  He seems to have been with Papa all the time so next time I am requesting some Nana time!  I'm sure Carrie got some photos and papa said he had some on his blackberry, but alas-- not available at the time of this publishing.  Next time, I'll post when Konnor came home and we went to the Pioneer Days in Kiowa and he had his first ever airplane ride with Papa. Hopefully it won't take me another month!  PRAY FOR RAIN! We need it desperately!
