On the Praire!

These pictures were taken for our oldest son who helped us plant the prairie. Since we sold a bunch of our cows, our grass has grown like crazy. All the grandkids helped us plant potatoes and onions when they were home in March so this is the result of all that effort. We have been harvesting potatoes, onions, corn, yellow and zuchinni squash, and last night some sweet corn. We even have some giant pumpkin growing - we have no idea how big they will get! I put a video of the equine family for all the K-Kids to enjoy! They miss all the K-Kids and will be glad to have you home so you can take care of all their needs. Tonight we'll be harvesting two rows of corn. YUM YUM!

Grandkids in HOT HOT Kansas!

Papa and I got to go to a T-ball game for K-Bro before they ended their season. Was another hot day but he hung in there and played and got some really good hits. Played on the pitchers mound and had some great stops. I think he's had a lot of fun this year. K-Bug spent some time with Nana last weekend while Mommy and Daddy went to a wedding so we had fun too. We went for a walk, chased Jasmine down the street, and I watched her tell Jasmine NO. NO. NO. No ...while pointing her little finger. She is so funny! I told Daddy in Minnesota I would get some pictures of the prairie. That will be my next blog for another day.

K-Bug looking so..... cute!
Daddy using his MudDuck call with Papa looking on!

Mommy and K-Bug trying to stay cool at the game.

K-Bro in the dugout at the T-ball game for the Mud Ducks! Sure was HOT!

K-Bro looking handsome with his Nana!

Got these cute boots for K-Girl from Misty's daughter.

My attempt at mosaics for the gap that was above the oven. It's
suppose to be a barn setting on a hillside. Oh Well, I tried!

Kgirl warming up for gymnastics!

I'm going to try and catch up a little at a time since school's been out. We've only traveled once up north to Minnesota, but will be making the trip again. The photos were from that trip and we did have a lot of fun and got some work done too! Between watching K-Man's t-ball and K-Girls gymnastics, and trips to the park and playing with K-Baby and K-Sis - we managed to do a little home interiors work. What a lovely home! It was a gorgeous flight home too. I know Dad would love to see all the potholes from the air! Next blog, I'll include pictures of Kcar and Kcutie. I have to get them downloaded and also pictures of our native grass that DadS helped us plant.

Finally - I did it!

I did it! I've finally joined my daughters-in-law with a blogspot. Now if I can figure things out without their help. EEeek - it's a little more time intensive than I thought! This was taken at Fergus Falls after Karolyn finished her gymnastics class! She was so.... proud :)
